Briggs either has enough respect for her characters to not do them wrong or she is an amazing writer. The evolution of Anna is so honest and touching the plot itself is inconsequential.
Luckily it was good too. This book really delves into the meaning of hierarchy and community vs politics within this universe in a way few other werewolf novels do. The idea of omega here is so smart I want to see it ripped off so I can read more about it.
